the Wish of the Dragon God
The person whose name is yet in question wakes up in an animal suit with two tails with no memory. She is stuck in a fantasy world. In the forest clearing she is ambushed by a little creature who introduces himself as Fer. Fari tells her who she is, but she feels like that isn’t right, she is a stranger in her own skin. As she heads back to her house she sees a wanted poster of a boy, Alexander, which sparks in her a strong feeling of familiarity and gets one memory back of her real life in the real world. Keko tells Welle that her and Alexander used to be close friends but he left about two years ago to get his wings. Keko explains about Atlas, the king of the neighboring land. Those who get to serve him are rewarded with miraculous powers. So Welle sets off the find Alexander in Atlas’ kingdom. On the way she runs into some bandits which try to rob her, but she doesn’t have anything of value or anything at all. So the robbers take pity on her explaining they are like robin hood and they give her some money because she’s so very poor. Also as an apology, the leader of the robbers takes a liking to her so he tries to help her. He escorts her through the dangerous country to Atlas’ land. He will not go farther and gives her a bracelet. So next time she would see danger coming. Atlas’ kingdom is marked by a giant gateway. As Welle walks through the first city, she meets a mystic who promises her to hear future. But the danger bracelet goes off so she escapes into a building of a girl who is a painter. They become friends. Welle gets the hang of surviving in this world and gets on with her journey to find Alexander. In the next city she walks into a dojo, the master takes a liking to her and agrees to teach her his martial art. Once her training is complete she moves on. The she finds a musician who teaches her music, and she moves on. When she’s on the way to the next city, she runs into Alexander. They hug and suddenly she sees herself on the roof of a building in a city in the real world. As soon as she lets go she is back in the fiction land. She discovers her real name is Alice. She tries it again but nothing happens. Alexander doesn’t know what she’s talking about, he says they’re in danger. Alexander is in a a chase after a criminal. Then a fight breaks out between Alexander and the criminal, Jorhuti’s henchman. Jorhuti is Atlas’ arch nemesis, and was following Alice to get to Alexander so he could get to Atlas and kill him. The bad guy kills Atlas and Alice freaks out, with all her desire she makes a wish to save him. Somebody somewhere heard her, and all of a sudden she wakes up again in the same forest clearing, like no time had past, but this time she had her memories. So she went through everything magically knowing what exactly would happen all the time, unlocking previously unknown secrets, wowing all the masters of their arts, only when she got to Alexander, she warned him of the impending attack, and Alexander summons Atlas who easily captures Nix, Jorhuti’s henchman. Something happens and Nix shows up, everyone is transported to Atlas’ palace. Jorhuti gets revenge on Atlas, fulfilling his wish from the dragon God, however as he is about to kill atlas, alice pleads, and she sees a powerful light come from atlas which gives him the ability to transcend his form and become a beautiful ferocious spirit able to simply blow out Jorhuti’s flame, finally giving peace to the land. Alice looks into Alexander’s eyes and asks him what that light was. He says, it was her. And everything turns white as light and warm surround her. Then she notices a filling up of her senses, and a sharpness to the sounds she hears. Birds outside the window. She is in her room. There are no fairy tale creatures, its just her in her mother’s apartment. No animal suit, she is just human, skin and flesh. She stares at the scene of the real life. It was all just a dream. Then she gets a text on her cell. It’s from her best friend Alexander who wrote to her, I just had a dream about you. And the look on her face just says, what if it was all real?
